Newton's First Law (Law of Inertia) — a body remains at rest or in uniform motion unless a resultant force acts on it. Newton's Second Law — the resultant force on an object is directly proportional to its acceleration (Fnet = ma). Newton's Third Law (Action-Reaction) — forces always occur in pairs, equal in magnitude, opposite in direction, acting on different objects.
